Etro

Etro is an Italian fashion house and manufacturer of fabrics, furnishings and fragrances. It was founded in 1968 by Gimmo Etro. It is still a family business, with menswear headed since 1990 by Kean Etro, while his sister, Veronica, directs womenswear. Gimmo's eldest son, Jacopo, is in charge of the textile division, and brother Ippolito handles the company finances from its headquarters in Milan.

Its signature look, incorporating bright colors and bold, kaleidoscopic patterns paired with classic tailoring, have frequently featured the paisley. Its men's and women's retail collections also include shoes, leather goods and accessories. The brand is particularly regarded for its men's suits, which appear at first conservatively styled, yet which commonly incorporate loud, colorful fabric in the lining and under collar and cuff.

The company hangs its pegasus emblem at more than two dozen of its own stand-alone boutiques worldwide, in places such as Rodeo Drive, Beverly Hills; Madison Avenue, New York; Americana Manhasset, The Forum Shops at Caesars, Las Vegas; Via Montenapoleone, Milan; Bond Street, London; Via Condotti, Rome; Taipei 101, Taipei; as well as Moscow, Berlin, Dubai and Mexico City. A 10 location is in the works in Atlanta at the Streets of Buckhead. The collection is also found at high-end department stores around the globe such as Bergdorf Goodman, Saks Fifth Avenue, Neiman

Carolina Herrera

Carolina Herrera  is a Venezuelan and naturalized American fashion designer and entrepreneur who founded her eponymous company in 1980. Herrera was born in Caracas, Venezuela, a daughter of Guillermo Pacanins Acevedo, an air-force officer who later became Governor of Caracas, and his wife, the former María Cristina Niño Passios. Based in New York City since 1980, throughout the 1970s and 1980s she was named one of the best dressed women in the world. Her clients have included Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis and Renee Zellweger.

In 1957, Herrera married Guillermo Behrens Tello, a Venezuelan landowner, with whom she had two daughters, Mercedes and Ana Luisa. hey divorced in 1964. In 1968, in Caracas, she married Reinaldo Herrera Guevara, the host of "Buenos Dias", a Venezuelan morning-television news program and the elder son of a prominent Venezuelan landowner and art collector; he is now a special-projects editor of Vanity Fair magazine. Carolina and Reinaldo Herrera have two daughters, Carolina Adriana and Patricia Cristina.
